The room was large for a Japanese room and the beds were very comfortable. First time staying in a ryokan. The price was worth it because we got free access any time to all the public onsens. If we had to pay, it’ll be JPY500-1000 per session. The ryokan also has 2 onsens for more privacy. When we were using it, no one else can come in. Was good “practice” for first time onsen users like us. At the ryokan, there is a Michelin star Tajima beef restaurant-reasonable prices for Michelin star. Tajima beef is same as Kobe beef but cheaper cos not so famous. Free breakfast at the cafe downstairs was superb. We can sit for free at the cafe downstairs from 4.30pm-7pm and get free drinks including wine, beer etc Location superb-5 minutes from Kinosakionsen Station, 10-15 minutes walk to any good restaurant. The staff were so helpful and the receptionist speaks English. WiFi a bit slow but I don’t think it’s the ryokan’s fault cos Kinosakionsen is a small town so may not have many towers. Will definitely return again and again. Very relaxing holiday

A beautiful hotel, 3 minutes walk from the train station. The staff were amazing, always so friendly and welcoming. The room was very large and the bed was very comfortable and warm. We had dinner at the restaurant during our stay and it was amazing. The beef truly is exceptional. There are two private onsens in the hotel (no public), and we were able to use them multiple times during our stay without any wait. The breakfast included with the room rate was also very good. Happy hour (free drinks) at the hotel in the afternoons was a nice surprise. You get an onsen pass when you arrive at the hotel to use all 7 public onsens in the town for free (one is currently closed for renovations). We stayed for two nights and comfortably visited them all. You can use the onsen pass until 1pm on the day of checkout. We stayed as a celebration for my wife's birthday and I am very happy I chose this hotel.

Breakfast was served at the café at the bottom floor, you get a full tray of delicious food! Café here also had happy hour later in the day for hotel guests! Hotel staff was amazing, our tatami room was amazing, and they carried all our luggage for us! At some point I lost my passport, and the staff went out of their way to help me find it. Truly wonderful people. Hotel also has two private onsen baths, and we tried them both! No reservations, just wait until it's available and try not to occupy it longer than 40 min. You also get yukatas, obi belts, haori jackets (if it's cold), tabi socks and geta sandals to wear during your visit. Umbrellas and rain boots are available to borrow if it's raining. We're going back to Koyado Enn on our next visit! Definitely a highlight of our honeymoon! It was such a special and lovely hotel! 🥰

Amazing stay. Absolutely blown away by this wonderful place. Traditional room which was extremely spacious (almost felt like an apartment with a bedroom, toilet, balcony, sitting room). The onsen on site is private with no extra cost or booking required and was wonderful. Traditional yukata to wear with wooden shoes and overcoat as required. All onsens close by and walking distance with access from check-in time to 1pm on check-out day! Some of the onsens are open until 23:00 so even if you get there later you can still enjoy. Downstairs lounge with complimentary drinks was an unexpected bonus and they also catered to vegan and vegetarian! Overall the first days of our Japan holiday the bar was set extremely high. Our only regret was not spending longer at Koyado Enn!

I got the traditional Japanese room and couldn't ask for a more perfect room. It really feels traditional without sacrificing comfort (there's an AC/heater and power strips with USB). The beds were extremely comfortable, there was a table in the room and it was very spacious. The private baths are amazing as well, and there's a system to know if they are in use or not before going there. I also had dinner with Tajima beef there and it was seriously one of the best meals I ever had. The whole menu was so delicious! I also had the breakfast and it was incredible as well. They help you set-up to go to the onsen, there's a yukata that you can borrow and even wellies (it was snowing for me). Seriously great service!
